After the general elections in Britain the Conservatives secured a very strong majority, this victory provides the Prime Minister Boris Johnson with much needed suport for leading Britain into the process of leaving the European Union . This is surely the case since the main focus that Boris Johnson had provided in his campaign was BREXIT, the fact that he claimed such a large amount of voters to believe in Brexit, proves, once again, that Britain is ready to take the final step in leaving the European Union. I am not going to criticize this belief, since when we are looking at other European states we can see that nationalists are gaining more and more voters each day. This is a very important aspect, the fact that the political spectrum has shifted is a very big deal, this why Donald Trump actually won the elections in the United States, in order to make my argument stronger I am going to quote a very remarcable and intelligent politician, more precise Stephan Harper, he is the former prime minister of Canada from 2006 untill 2015, and he claimed this : „ The underlying issue is this : Over the last few decades, thanks to Globalization, a billion people, mostly from the emerging markets of Asia, have lifted themselves out of poverty. This, of course,is a good thing. Yet, in many western countries, the incomes of working people have stagnated of even declined over the same period ‘.

Actually I believe that this is the most accurate explanation of what is happening now, not only in the United States, but also in Europe, people tend to be attracted more and more to the nationalist side because they emanate a sort of confidence and security which attracts the majority into accepting their conceptions and, as we see now in Britain, actually vote for them.

We live in a democratic Europe, this means that people are allowed and encouraged to vote freely with whom they want, but as for Britain’s concern, BREXIT is a very risky manoeuvre which, if not under very powerful control, could easily slip into God knows what disaster.

We can see a lot of support for Britain regarding the Brexi process, after the Conservatives won the elections, President Trump congratulated Mr. Johnson, tweeting: „Britain and the United States will now be free to strike a massive new Trade Deal after BREXIT. This deal has the potential to be far bigger and more lucrative than any deal that could be made with the E.U. Celebrate Boris!”. This is a very good sign for the Conservatives, they have Donald Trump’s support which means a lot on the international politics landscape, but again Donald Trump actually supported Boris Johnson, and mainly BREXIT, since the beginning, and this is again because of the shift in the political spectrum that I have mentioned earlier

Finally, Europe right now is changing, we should hope for the best but expect the worst, if Brexit is going to have, let’s say a „successful’ ending, we should expect other European states to imitate what Britain done, but again let’s hope that this will not be the actual scenario.
